Fiddlers 'n Fireworks

Celebrate Utah's Pioneer Day on our annual evening train - this year celebrated on Saturday, July 19th. We'll start the fun at 7pm with live music and a fried chicken dinner, served outside next to the depot (7:15-8 pm). Dinner includes two pieces of fried chicken, potato salad, roll, a cookie and soft drinks/ bottled water. At 8:15 you'll enjoy the Old West gunfighter show, and then the 2 hour round trip departs at 8:30 pm. We travel to Decker Bay on the shores of Deer Creek Reservoir. After the run around at Decker Bay the train will stop on the shores of Deer Creek Reservoir directly across the lake from the Charleston Fireworks. We will enjoy the fireworks across the lake from 10 pm until about 10:15 and then re-board the train and travel back to the depot. This is a fun event for the whole family!

Your ticket includes dinner at the Depot, live music during dinner, and a ride on the Historic Heber Train to watch the Charleston fireworks across the lake (Deer Creek Reservoir). IMPORTANT NOTE: We encourage all passengers to stay on the train and watch the fireworks from inside the train cars. We have limited the number of seats sold so that everyone can sit on the "lake" side and watch the fireworks from inside the train. If some passengers want to get off the train and watch from the ground, we will have a small number of chairs set up. However, deboarding the train to watch the fireworks includes steep stairs and steps onto our gravel platform. This may be difficult for many passengers. Passengers are invited to remain on the train and watch the fireworks from there. (Mosquitos are know to also watch the fireworks at night)
